360 Revolution Curriculum

Dear Youth Leader,

It doesn’t take long to look around and see that our world needs Jesus. A quick look at history reveals that most of the cultural revolutions in the West have been influenced by teenagers and college students. There are hundreds of thousands of teenagers who need Jesus, and many of them are in your community. What would happen to our world if God started a spiritual revolution among these lost teenagers?

Inside these pages you will find a tool to prepare your teenagers to start a spiritual revolution in your community. The 360 Revolution is a simple, local evangelism strategy that will help your students become aware of those without Christ around them; it will give them a practical tool to use throughout the year.

In this guide, you will find four sessions designed for sixty-minute time blocks. Feel free to adapt them to fit the needs of your teaching schedule. These lessons are most effective when taught in a small group format, but they can be used in a large group setting if there is small group time within the larger group. These training sessions are targeted at students who already have a relationship with Christ. In the session material, three asterisks (***) indicate that a small group of four to six is optimal for that particular activity. Reproducible student handouts start on page 24.

We also suggest that you order some evangelism booklets or tracts that can be given to your students during session four. It’s Awesome is a simple tract-type visual that can help students share new life in Christ with their friends. You can order this tool from Warner Press at www.warnerpress.org (product #F9170) or by calling 1-800-741-7721. Another useful tool is The Bridge to Life, a very simple tract available from the Navigators (www.navpress.org, around $10 for a pack of fifty). Students can use it to help them explain the fact that all are separated from God because of sin, but Christ bridges the gap between God and humans.

The Book of Hope is also a great tool for sharing the gospel. This resource is available for $1 per copy and can be ordered in editions that are written for different age groups. For more information, check out www.bookofhope.com.

We encourage you to adapt these lessons to fit your group. You know your students better than we do, so there may be ideas you have that will work better with your group. Feel free to implement and innovate, but keep in mind that the main goal is to help your students become intentional about sharing the love of Jesus so others can find hope and live life to the full.

We want to celebrate together what God is doing around North America through the 360 Revolution. Click here to report times when God brings someone to Christ through the students in your group.

May God bless you as we raise up a new generation of Christ-centered leaders—together.
