Team Leadership
The leadership of the ministry team should be carefully delineated for the team members. Several leadership arrangements are workable:
- The North American team organizer is the team leader throughout the experience. While on-site, this leader shares responsibility for guiding the ministry with the person on-site. The person on-site is responsible for in-country arrangements for food, lodging, and transportation.
- The North American organizer is the leader for the team, while one of the team members is responsible for guiding the work, ministry, etc. The person on-site is responsible for food, lodging, and travel in-country.
- The North American organizer appoints a team leader and a ministry leader for in-country activities, and these work with the person on-site to coordinate the ministry.
