- Stories from the Neighborhood (
 444 KB) The 2009 annual meeting and lunch of Christian educators of the Church of God during NAC was directed to the question, “What’s going on in your neighborhood?—the church and its neighbors.” In anticipation of that meeting, we conducted a national survey asking one question, “What is your local congregation doing to make disciples in its neighborhood?”
A number of responses provided some wonderful stories and suggestions for involvement that might spur others on to engaging more personally with the folks who live next door. Click here to download Stories From the Neighborhood.

- Tell Me About… A six subject online, downloadable set of resources covering the key teachings of the Church of God reformation movement by Dr. Arlo Newell, one of the church's strongest doctrinal teachers: Salvation, Holy Living, Membership, Ordinances, Divine Healing, and the Return of Christ.
- Invitation to Discipleship... An eleven subject online, downloadable set of workbooks covering essential teachings and practices of the church, edited by Arthur Kelly, and written by leaders of the Church of God: First and Last Things, The Bible, Prayer, The Holy Spirit, The People of God, Temptations, Faith, Telling Others, Jesus, and Stewardship. Useful for individual study, small groups, and Sunday school.
- Five Principle Training System for Youth... Working with the SHAPE initiative of the Church of God, the principles of Spirituality, Vision, Leadership, Knowledge/Culture, and Relational/Connectivity, were developed with the belief that these five principles cross cultures. In January 2008, these principles were piloted with leaders in Africa.
TAG Workshops
A set of four teacher-training workshops—for all age-level teachers in the local congregation:
- Bridges to Teaching—An overview training of the key skill sets needed for teachers of all ages.
- Teachers are Great!—A workshop designed to affirm, motivate, and equip teachers: teacher as communicator, as ambassador, and as educator
- STEPS—A step-by-step guide to the development of a lesson plan.
- The Book—An introduction to The Bible, its history and its role in the church—as well as how to use it depending on the age of the students.
