Regional Organizations
Regional organizations enhance the work of congregations within a region. Together with local pastors and layleaders, they provide services and coordinate ministries and events that often include ministers' meetings, youth conventions, camp meetings, a variety of camps targeted to diverse age groups, and the planting of new congregations.
Many regional agencies are guided by a general assembly composed of ministers and laypersons. They also oversee requirements and procedures granting credentials to ministers and recognition to congregations within their region.
